Terms and Conditions

1. Membership
  • Membership is mandatory to borrow books from the library.
  • A one-time, non-refundable membership fee is required during registration.
  • Membership benefits and book limits are based on the chosen plan.
  • The library reserves the right to terminate memberships for non-compliance with library policies.
2. Lending and Rental
  • Books are lent based on availability and membership plans.
  • Rental charges are determined by the book category, such as novels, study materials, or magazines.
  • Books must be returned by the due date; failure to return on time will result in penalties calculated on a daily basis.
  • Borrowers are responsible for the safekeeping of books and liable for any loss or damage. Compensation will be determined by the library’s policy.
3. Book Selling and Delivery
  • Books can be purchased either in-store or online.
  • Delivery services are available within Coimbatore through direct delivery and outside Coimbatore via courier services.
  • Delivery charges depend on the location and weight of the books.
4. Payments and Refunds
  • All payments for membership, rentals, and purchases are to be made in advance
  • Refunds are not applicable for memberships or rental fees.
  • For purchased books, refunds are applicable only in cases of damage during delivery (see Return Policy).
5. Changes to Terms
  • Choose & Read Library reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Updates will be posted on our website, and continued use of our services indicates acceptance of the changes.
